Allan Daly – Managing Director

With extensive experience in senior management and insurance broking, Allan has worked in insurance industry since 1975.

Prior to joining Avon Insurance Brokers, Allan began his insurance career in Christchurch as a general insurance clerk with National Insurance but soon went on to several senior positions including office manager (based in Dunedin) and the South Island Sales Manager (based in Christchurch) for Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance.

In 1995, Allan became an Insurance Broker specialising in Commercial Insurance and joined Avon Insurance Brokers in February 2001 as a partner.

Allan is a senior Associate of the Insurance Institute and maintains a current Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker Certification. He also serves as a board member of IBANZ.

Allan lives in Christchurch and is married with two adult children. He is an active member of the Salvation Army and loves rugby, classic cars, motorcycling and speedway.
